What We Do
Our Purpose
There is an amazing amount of misinformation out there regarding Bitcoin. We want to change that.
Bitcoin is an amazing technology with benefits many do not know about. There is no marketing team for Bitcoin due to its decentralized nature, so it is up to small, local organizations to provide accurate, truthful information.
We are Bitcoin only, and will not discuss other cryptocurrencies. We are not financial advisors. We will not advise anyone to purchase Bitcoin. We will not make any price predictions. Do your own research before purchasing any financial asset.
Our Goal
This is the official website for the Nevada County Bitcoin MeetUp.
This is where we will be sharing our monthly MeetUp presentations on Bitcoin topics, sharing general information, and making local announcements.
We believe the current credit card fee system is predatory to small businesses.
We assist businesses with setting up systems to enable them to accept Bitcoin. Businesses can then use a third-party company to exchange the Bitcoin for USD, with fees of 1% or less.
We are not paid for this service. We do this because we believe the community's money should stay in the community.
Our Service
We have five-plus years of experience with Bitcoin and Bitcoin companies. We are not employed by Bitcoin Companies, and do not charge a fee for any help. We are not paid by any of the companies we discuss. This is truly only for the benefit of the community and the truth.
